Odd Ball Knitting : Beginners
A flexible workshop, depending on abilities of participants. We'll cast on, knit in plain and purl, cast off, maybe even increase. Two easy projects, and you'll be knitting something beautiful in no time!

Be There, Be Square : Patchwork with Magghi McLean
Experimenting with colour using the nine patch block. Going back to basics: sewing a single square; learning about colour and how to be mix and match; making a nine patch block with a view to making 4 x nine patch blocks, which will seamlessly (!) lead into the next class.

Design Squared : Patchwork with Magghi McLean
Experimenting with design using only squares. Learning that 9 is a magic number and produces endless variations of pattern; how to mix colours and patterns in fabric; being bold with colour and design; a finished patchwork panel which can be made into cushion or small mat.
