The designer-makers you'll encounter at Frugal Cool and ReMade - our new shop in Musselburgh - are all committed to a happy and healthy world. Their beautiful designs are made by hand, mindful of our fragile planet.
Frugal Cool is the retail brand for The Frugal Group, a sustainability communications company based in south-east Scotland. Frugal Cool is a social business, creating selling opportunities for work which is ethically produced, re-used, green, vintage or fair trade as well as giving back to our community whenever possible.
With growing interest in inventive and quality eco-design, I want Frugal Cool to:
• support the designers' community through opportunity, collaboration and learning
• encourage buying decisions that consider the environment and support the local community
• talk about green issues and sustainability
• ensure our products and marketing activities have a low environmental impact and respect workers across the world.
