Be There, Be Square : Patchwork with Magghi McLean
Experimenting with colour using the nine patch block. Going back to basics: sewing a single square; learning about colour and how to be mix and match; making a nine patch block with a view to making 4 x nine patch blocks, which will seamlessly (!) lead into the next class.

Design Squared : Patchwork with Magghi McLean
Experimenting with design using only squares. Learning that 9 is a magic number and produces endless variations of pattern; how to mix colours and patterns in fabric; being bold with colour and design; a finished patchwork panel which can be made into cushion or small mat.
